2. Overview

This website is a static site. We use no analytics or tracking tools, no social media plugins and set no cookies of our own. All fonts, images, scripts and styles are served from our own host; the "Inter" font is self-hosted (SIL Open Font License) and no fonts are loaded from external servers. The only third-party content is the Calendly booking calendar (section 5), which loads automatically when you scroll near the booking section.

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to our processing (for example, when we offer services to people in the EU, Art. 3(2) GDPR), the legal bases stated below refer to the GDPR.

3. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, acting as our processor. When you visit the site, the host automatically processes data your browser transmits (server log files): IP address, date and time of access, requested page/file, amount of data transferred, referrer URL, browser type and version, and operating system. This is needed to deliver the website and keep it stable and secure (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with IONOS. Log files are deleted after a short period in line with the host's policy.

4. Contact by email

If you email us, we process the data you provide (e.g. name, email address, message content) to handle your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We delete the data once it is no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

5. Booking calendar (Calendly)

To book appointments, our pages embed a booking calendar from Calendly LLC, 115 E Main St, Ste A1B, Buford, GA 30518, USA. The calendar loads automatically when you scroll near the booking section: your browser then loads a script from assets.calendly.com and an iframe from calendly.com. Calendly receives your IP address, browser and device information and the referring page, and Calendly may set cookies and similar technologies on your device (for functionality, security and, depending on Calendly's settings, analytics). If you book an appointment, Calendly processes the details you enter (e.g. name, email, notes, selected time) on our behalf.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in offering simple, direct online scheduling to business contacts (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for bookings, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). You may object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) at any time; instead of the calendar you can simply email us at alex@kapitalexperte.com. You can block or delete Calendly cookies in your browser settings.

Transfers to the USA: Calendly LLC participates in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (incl. UK Extension and Swiss-U.S. DPF), see dataprivacyframework.gov (checked October 2026); in addition, Calendly's Data Processing Addendum contains the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. 6. Links to social networks and external sites

Links to LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Fiverr, FortisX, project websites and author profiles are plain hyperlinks. No content from these providers is embedded and no data is sent to them when you visit this website. Their privacy policies apply only once you click a link.

7. Where your data is processed

We are a company based in the United States. If you contact us or book a call, you send your data directly to us in the USA; this is a collection by us, not a transfer by an EU-based exporter. Data you send us by email or via Calendly is processed in the USA by us and by our service providers (e.g. our email provider and Calendly LLC). The USA may not offer the same level of data protection as your home country. Where our providers transfer data onward, they rely on their own safeguards (such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses, where applicable). Server logs are processed by our host IONOS SE within the EU.

8. Your rights

If you are in the EU/EEA (or a jurisdiction with similar rules), you have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21) and to withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU/EEA country of your habitual residence or place of work (Art. 77 GDPR).

9. U.S. residents

We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling. U.S. residents may contact us at the email address above with any privacy request.
